3DS Max 2013 Failed install "Error getting file security"

This is what im getting when trying to install 2013....also getting it when trying to Uninstall 2012

Seems like a permissions issue. This is usually caused by the following:
1. You don't have local admin Rights. Verify this in the Control Panel.
2. UAC is enabled. Disabled User Access Control and reboot. It is all kinds of problematic.
3. You have some sort of Anti-virus protection software that locks down the Program Files folder, etc.
Once you have eliminated all these, try again.

My account is the only user on this computer and it's set to administrator...also disabled firewall, unplugged cable, and lowered the User Access Control down to nothing, and disabled avast antivirus. Same error occurs...I can't seem to uninstall, repair, or reinstall 3ds max 2012 either.

I would check your folder security settings for the ProgramData folder then. Clearly it is a permissions issue caused by policy, virus, or some other unknown reason.
