3D studio max 12_missing templates (in general)

Hello there

When assigning materiales to objects in 3D studio max desgin 12 the template is empty (see attachemnt).

According to the inbuild toturial this template should contain a lot of matriales and stuff.

Does this have something to do with the nesting and inbuild paths? How can I be sure that all the path is pointing in the right direction?

Can you go to Add/Remove Programs and modify the installation and see if there is an option to add content?
