2013 Install Process

Hello,

I created an AutoCad Electrical 2013 deployment and went to install it on a client computer to have it sit in the Setup Initialization phase for hours. ( I left it over night)

I don't get any prompts to answer, the progress bar fills up and then retreats back to half full.  It continues this for as long as you let it.

I modified the deployment and it didn't help.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Could be a coincidence.  But a deployment should be shared with a writable UNC path rather than a drive letter, mapped or otherwise.  \\Servername\Share is recommended because it best eliminates folder depth and character limits.  There is no beneficial reason to have a share that traverses folders.  It defeats the purspose of easily accessing network resources.  It's best to have \\Servername\Share than \\Servername\Folder\Folder\Folder\Folder\Folder\ just because its phyiscal path is the same.  Simply share the last folder even if the phyiscal path is longer.
