2007 lic to 2008 lic

How do I get the LMTOOLS to use the new AutoCAD 2008 license file and no longer access the AutoCAD 2007 license file. Should the old lic file be renamed or use the Config Services Tab and Remove Services button to remove the AutoCAD 2007 lic??
Am I in the right ballpark?

Since we take some time in switching version. I usually just combine the
license files.

Just replace the old file with the new file.
Brave but if that's what you want to do that's all there is to it.
Do a reread file and a status enquiry afterward to make sure.

It's a good idea to do it this way. Then you can have a more smooth
transition.

In addition you can use software like License Statistics to plot both
versions within the same graph to see the utilization of both versions.
This will give you an indication when you can let go of the old software
without any interruptions.
