2004 - Cannot install FlexLM software due to EULA file does not exist error!!!

I am trying to install the 2004 version of FlexLM onto a computer that
is already running 3 other FlexLM Licensed software - 2002/Map 6,
ArcView, and MathCAD.

I had uninstalled the 2002/Map 6 Flex software prior to trying to
install the 2004 version.

When I start the setup.exe program, the first screen of the setup
wizard displays, pauses for a second or two, and then the following
dialog box displays...

MSI3
License Dialog
File does not exist: \eula\AdskLicense.ini
OK

(sometimes the title shows MSI1 instead of MSI3)


The file AdskLicense.ini is definitely there and in that directory. I
copied the setup files and sub directories to the hard drive, but
still get the same error when running the setup.exe from the hard
drive.

Has anybody experienced this?

The computer I am trying to install the software on to is basically a
license computer running different FlexLM versions for the software I
listed above. We have been using it for about 2 years. It is running
NT4 Workstation service pack 6, which is in the required specs to run
the software.

Mike,

This error appears to be known for Inventor products but I am not familiar
with it being a problem with AutoCAD 2004 when installing the NLM. A
suggestion I would make is to try copying the \EULA directory to the root of
C:
