Using Windows 8.1 64 bit and Maya 2015.
There was a prompt to update Maya (to do with Mental Ray and one other). I proceeded to do so.
Now when I go to run Maya, there is a pop-up window stating with the title "maya.exe - Bad Image" and the following message:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2015\binColor.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.

It looks like I need to reinstall Maya. I'm hoping there is a way of fixing this without reinstalling.
