Optimal PC for 3D Studio Max and Recap

Hi all,

i am looking for the OPTIMAL CAD-workstation to be used to handel huge data volums with

Recap (to register around 400 scans), and 3D Studio Max / Point Cloud objects (to  load a *.RCP file of 5 to 10 GB and then render the Scene)

could anybody give me some professional suggstions ?

could CELSIUS M730 be a solution ?

You can build a workstation between 300$ and 25000$.

What's your budget?

If it's unlimited, look for Ultra High-End Workstation with the best CAD graphic card, for example an Nvidia Quadro K6000.

The latest CPU with the fastest clock (intel i7 4960x Extreme Edition 15MB Cache)

And i assume you will boost your workstation with a maximum of Memory.

Keep some money for 2 good SSD drives, 1 for the OS and 1 for your work.
