Older 3Ds Max Versions and ALAMO-Plugin

Hello,

 

where can I buy 3Ds Max 6 or 8 ?
I need to install the ALAMO-Plugin to work with .ALA and .ALO-files and it doesn't work on later versions...

Or are there other possibilities to create or import .ALA or .ALO files ?

 

I need these ALA-models for a mod, otherwise I can't create new models and put them in the game-mod.
