Fedora 14 - Is it a minimum requirement, or the only supported Fedora OS?

I'm considering installing either F14 or F15 for use with Autodesk software. I would prefer to use F15, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to have support for this operating system.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

RHEL /CentOS 6.0 is the minimum OS level required for Maya 2013

I haven't run on Fedora 15. I have run on Fedora 16 and 17
One problem with F17, is I haven't been able to change the Alt keybinding of the window manager
for Maya's tumble. I've been using the Windows/Super key instead

Releases after Fedora 14 have not been tested that much yet

I'm glad to hear that it is a minimum requirement.

If the only reason to not use F15 is that it hasn't been thoroughly tested, maybe I should help to test it. I would use F16 or F17, but they do not support my Catalyst Driver.

In response to your alt-key issue, does F17 not support gconf-editor? I seem to recall the way to fix that is to edit apps>metacity>mouse_button_modifier to "<Super>"

Least on the beta version I have, that didn't seem to do anything
As you said its worked in all previous versions
