Hello Everyone,
I am assembling a workstation to start learning and using 3d studio max and Revit, for architecture and I am really lost into the right configuration in terms of core, ram and graphic card.
After long research I come to this configuration. and I would like to know if you believe this could be right for my needs ( beginner but with very fast learner and with limitated budget)....
I will use also for autocad.
This is the configuration were in a future I could have more RAM ( 2 slots free)

Should be quite functional. A couple of things to investigate:
- look into a good-sized solid-state drive for the primary drive (OS and programs); the Caviar Black is excellent as a secondary (storage) drive
- 550 W power supply might be a little on the low side; this is one area where over-spec'ing won't hurt
- RAM should be sufficient; if you don't mind spending a little more max out to what the MB can support (typically 32 GB)
