why do'nt select some point ?

hi ,
I have a point layer that DataSource is OLE DB , When i Select this layer by Select/Polygon some of the point don't select !!!!
Why ?!!! it select some of them !!!

The reason for this could be ; there might be duplicate points.
i mean there could be two points sharing the same location.
