upgrading from MapGuide Server 6 to 6.5 ??

hello all,
i'm new to the Mapguide environment...pls advise how to upgrade from 6 to 6.5..is it a completely new license ? it seems that 6 is not compatible with Windows Server 2003 ??
thanks for any suggestions...

I believe you are correct on both accounts. MG 6 is not supported on Windows 2003. Although it may run on Windows 2003 SP1. MG 6.5 SP1 was just released and it runs on Windows 2003 SP1.

I believe you may need a new license to upgrade to 6.5. You would have to clarify this with your Autodesk vendor you purchased MG 6 from.

By the way this is the wrong forum for MG 6.5 and earlier. This forum is for MG Enterprise which is 2007 onwards. You should post your questions to the MapGuide forum.
