"Industry models are the Oracle database schemas"?

I'm somewhat confused and fairly new to GIS....

I'm currently using the 30 day trail version of Map 3D 2012 64 bit and want to use the Topobase features with the water/wastwater models but I installed SQL server express 2008 R2 because Oracle XE 11.xx is only available in 32bit.

Can I use SQL server express '08 DB for the industry models I'm reading about in the help documentions or does it have to be an Oracle DB or do I even need a DB to use the Topobase tools?

Topobase has a hard dependency on Oracle. This cannot be avoided.

Another question....does an Oracle DB version come packaged with Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server 2012?
