Thanks for browse through this mail. I got a problem with the oracle DB setting.
Database : Oracle8i
Provider : Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle
Test connection : Successful
Process fail when in mapguide I link the layer to the secondary table. When I press the button to retrieve all the tables in database, it's prompt me a error message.
"Unable to enumerate the tables for the requested data source". Anybody knows or experience with this type of setting, please find me an answer, thanks.
How did you solve the problem? I am having the same problem with a shp datasource. It seems to be working okay in the server, but in the author, it will not enumerate tables.
The mistake that i made was I forgot to toogle on the "Allow saving password" in the connection tab data source setting. This problem appeared because mapguide data source was unable to connect to the external database. Hope this can help you.
