Unable to display SHAPE file in AUTHOR

I have a polyline shape file, which can be view
in ARCVIEW.
I add the layer to AUTOR. There is no any error in
the progress. But the map can't be displayed.
Are there any other special setting in AUTHOR?

Make sure the coordinate setting of the
shape file is the same as is set in MG Author.

Actually, you must insure that the SHP
Datasource (in the Autodesk MapGuide Server) for the SHP file in question is set
up with the same CS as the data.

Then, if a different CS is set in the MWF
(Autodesk MapGuide Author) the data will be transformed correctly by the
server.
