Unable to complete request to site

Hello,

I am running into a peculiar problem and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem; we have been running AIMS 2014 in our office for about 9 months now, about a month ago when I tried to edit a map using AIMS studio it started giving an error stating that our mapserver2014 site does not exist or internet connection has been lost. Our web applications are up and running and we can load all available maps, and obviously I am able to login to the site through studio. We just cannot make any edits / changes to the site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For what it's worth, I get it too occassionally when I'm trying to "Load Resources" (usually images) into Infrastruction Studio.
