Select buffer radius...

Hello all.

I am attempting to do something that I thought would be easy, but I'm
struggling a little bit with how to tackle this.

- I have a map with 1 polygon layer (Lots)
- I want to be able to
- select a polygon
- from the selected polygon, select all other polygons within a
pre-defined radius

Any ideas/info would be greatly appreciated

Hi Warren

Use SDF Toolkit to solve your problem
step 1: get the extent of selected polygon
step 2: find polygon within the extent

These steps are available inside sdftoolkit just use the example there no
need to crack the brain

Thanks Snapple.
I got it figured out...
I ended up just calculating the 'approximate' center of the selected
polygon, and then doing a 'buffer' (selectRadius) around that point.
