Polygon Coloring with Secondary Table

Hi,

We are migrating to mapguide 6.5 to mapguide enterprise 2009. All our maps are in mapguide 6.5 mwf format. The polygon features are colored using values from secondary table (SQL Server). My question is

1) Can I color polygons using values from secondary table as in mapguide 6.5

2) If so please let me know the process.

Appreciate for any help

Raj

I haven't tried this, but it should be possible by creating a joined
data connection. Once you have an initial feature source, you can add a
join to another data connection in the Studio UI. It's been a while, so
I'm not sure of the exact steps.

Warning though: the 2009 JOIN performance is currently quite poor
compared with 6.5, enough to make it far preferable to move your
attributes over to the SDF3 file wherever possible.

Thanks Jason,

I tried joining with secondary table from sql server database. The connection was successful but I could not able to join a secondary table to the Primary feature source. Can any one help on this.

Thanks in advance.
