Had a server crash and when I login to Studio saying: Unable to Connect to MapGuide server. Please ensure that the server process is running and firewall rules have been set correctly.
Went into services to see if it was started, which it wasn't, and when I try to start MapGuide Enterprise 2011, I get a message: The MapGuide Enterprise Server 2011 service on Local Computer Started and then Stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do. Checked Firewall and settings were the same as before crash.
Help is appreciated.
Try running mgserver2011 in interactive mode:
mgserver2011.exe run
If it starts up without issues, then it just means the service taking longer than the 30s that windows allows for it to start up. In that case, just retry starting up the service.
