MYSQL

I am using MYSQL with MYODBC. If I create point layers with X Y Coordinates
and connect to the MYSQL Database it works fine. However if I am using SHP
files for the Layer Geom and try and link to a secondary table I get and
error stating: "ODBC Driver does not support the requested properties"

Does anyone else use MYSQL and has anyone ever run into this error?

Thanks,

Mike DelloIacono

Hello,
we have the same problem with MySQL database.
As secondary table for any SDF layer is unaccesible.
Probably it's some bug in MySQL ODBC provider.

HI.

I have tried
both the ODBC and the OLEDB for MySQL and it fails.

ODBC ver 2.40.37 and ver 3.51.06 fails in Mapguide
6.0 and 6.3 (message: "557... cannot enumerate tables...")

MyOLEDB ver 3 fails in Mapguide 6.0 and 6.3 (gives
no message, just hangs so I have to reboot...)

I have read somewhere that the tables had to be
indexed, so I did, with no result...

Does anyone use MySQL with MapGuide?
