LiteView installation errors

I would apreciate if sombody have any suggestions about:

1 . I install JRE, Jrun, Lite view, and the //localhost/demo and
//localhost:8100/demo works.
For some reasons, the installation didn't make any settings for jrun, and I
need to make to register java class manual, url mapping, and inifile. I have
read about it in manual-setup.txt where I read:
G:\Program Files\Autodesk\MapGuideLiteView6\\Servlet\LiteViewServlet.zip .
My questions: is "\\" double backslash front of Servlet?
same for ini file
IniFile=G:\Program Files\Autodesk\MapGuideLiteView6\\Servlet\config.ini

2. After installation I could not see the map from "TestInstallation.html"
but something is there because I could see for a short time a blue splash,
and after that click error ... working .... opening.... I get

500 Internal Server Error
500 LiteView Version: 6.0.2.5 Java Edition timed out at 30 seconds

I'm wondering what is this splash about.
I deleted de config.ini and I got a an error like config.ini is missing, I
see something is working but not what I expect.

3. I see in task bar "MAP 0" "MAP 1" with java simbol , what are these ?

My configuration is:
Windows NT wks. 4.0
Peer Web Services
JRE 1.4
MG Server 6

I expect to be easy ... but it will a big deal .... .
