Linking to drawings from Mapguide Enterprise

Hi,

I"m setting up a map with waterlines.  I'd like to be able to set up a link to the pdf's of the as-built dwgs for each waterline, but am having trouble doing so.  I've tried using stylized points along the pipelines that a user could click on and go to the pdfs, but so far, its not working as I'd like - i have to hover over the point (in just the right spot), and wait for the hyperlink to pop up before clicking on the link.  

Has anyone had any success in easily linking to other documents?  Maybe I'm trying to go about this the wrong way?

Just use link as point or waterline label, each waterline object must have attribute where link is defined, after   when moving mouse over object then popup appears where you can click on link. This works with flexible layout.
