Thanks for responding. I was just about to add a follow-up message to say
that the problem has been solved. It was not related to Mapguide at all:
something must have happened during the file transfer because someone ftped
the file again and it works fine.
I found the performance of Mr. Sid's images quite disapointing though. We
have fairly large ecw images (1.4GB) and they are much faster. Perhaps we
are expecting too much; this Mr. Sid image is a 1.7GB file served over the
web after all.
