Hi!
When we first loaded the Infrastructure Map Server software, Studio was working perfectly. Now we are getting an error when we try to log in that says "Unable to connet to Map Server. Please ensure that the server process is running and firewall rules have been set correctly." We've been working with our LAN guy and he has checked the server and it seems to be working.
Should we start over and un-install then re-install the server?
Any help would be great!

Hi,
it is a quite common error message. Just google for: '"Unable to connect to MapGuide" studio'.
First check the MapGuide/Mapserver is running (it comes with an web interface for adminstration and for basic testing of API features) - i believe the Install Guide describes some basic tests how to check if the server runs prioperly.
If AIMS server is running correctly - restart Pc where Studio is installed.
Check AIMS log files for any error messages.
Check mailings lists for same error message.
