Infrastructure Map Server 2013 on Windows Server R2 Standard

The system requirement for the above product as shown in the document

=================================

System Requirements (64-bit)
Operating System
• Server components: Windows Server® 2008 Enterprise, Service Pack 2 (SP2)

=================================

Question: is there a difference if the product is installed in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard?

Windows Server® 2008 Enterprise is the officially supported OS, but I expect it runs on Windows Server 2008 Standard as well, although is it not officially supported.

Hi Daniel,

Is Infrastructure Map Server2013 will still work for Windows Server 2003 R2 standard?

We also use IIS6 as our services? will still run?

Thanks,

Buddy

Hi Buddy,

AIMS 2013 is only tested on the OS which is described in the system requirement document, it may run on other OS, but please note that it is not officially supported.

I personally did not try Windows Server 2003 with IIS6, so I have no say about it, I tried on Windows7, it works, of cause it is not suitable for production environment.

Hope this clarifies.

Hello SIr,

Good day! We would like to inquire for technical documents or manual for installing Web Server extensions and Several

Site Servers on different separate servers, also the configuration on how to load balance the multiple site servers.

Thank you very much.

Sir,

Good day! We have already done what is written on the following:

This site should be helpful:

http://sandbox.mapguide.com

especially this page for load banlancing

http://sandbox.mapguide.com/index.php/Pragmatic_Load_Balancing

but unfortunately load balancing does not work, the load is only focused on one server. Maybe you have

some further details.

Thank you.

Hello Sir,

Good day! We would also like to know the proper server sizing for AIMS 2013 in terms of single server (Web and MapServer on one machine) and also for separate server setup, in pragmatic mode.

Thank you.
