FDO - Views/Queries/Stored Procedures

Does anyone know if there are any plans to include the functionality to use View, Queries, and Stored Procedures as Layer Data Sources in MapGuide Enterprie?

I understand that stored procedures may be a little more complex but connecting to a SQL Server View or exectuing a query would be very close to connecting to a table.

I'm not sure if this is planned (perhaps ask the FDO Open Source
project?) but I do know that the KING Oracle FDO provider supports views
already, so it's technically possible:

This is probably the single most requested feature (or at least view
support) I am hearing from customers and colleagues working with MapGuide
Enerprise and Open Source.

Views are definately ESSENTIAL if enterprise is to succeed at all. We have a major MG6.5 application used by a number of global companies but our porting to enterprise was brought to a complete halt because we can not access data from views.
How can Autodesk suggest this product will be a market leader if it can't handle something as simple as data stored in linked tables (ie how a database should be structured).
