Create Columns Geometry in Sql Server which is only point

We need to create a spatial table with the geometry field with only point. But when we create a table in sql server directly using the Geometry field, and when we connected at AIMS is always the same line, point and polygon.

I wonder how to create a table that only accepts point.

SQL Server Spatial tables will always accept any type. If you mean that the legend in Studio shows Points, Lines and Polygons, then you can turn off the Lines and Polygons in Studio and then AIMS will ignore those types.

If you use MapGuide Maestro, you can completely remove the line and polygon with a checkbox.

Unless SQL Server lets you specify some kind of geometry type constraint on that column, I doubt MapGuide/FDO would know anything about that and thus just returns all geometry types as supported.

You can exclude certain geometry types from showing in the legend (if that's your concern) by removing their style rules in the Layer Definition.
