Connecting with Mysql

Hi,

has anyone succeeded in making a connection (through) odbc with Mysql and MapGuide. I can see my tables popping up in MsAcces but when I use the same connection in MapGuide I get the follwowing message:

Unable to enumerate the tables....

How come ? This shoul be possible, no ??

If you can't enumerate the tables (I've seen this happen with Oracle before
too), then you can most likely manually enter the table name and will still
be able to create a layer in
Author.

Hi,

Thx for your reply. I've tried to enter the layer properties manually (this is configuring mysql as a secundary table).
When I do this I get the following error message:

I'm using MapGuide 6.5 i/c MySQL ODBC 3.5.1

Does it matter if it's a user/system/file -dsn ?

Got I working.
The dsn has to be setup as a system dsn.
Great !

btw: should learn how to use the search function. Credits to the poster on
