Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server 2014

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to use AIMS but everytime that i start "Infrastructure Map Server 2014" Service, it shuts down it self.

My server runs MWS 2008 SP2 x86.

.NET Framework 3/4 is already installed.

Does anyone know what could it be?

Try running it in interactive mode on the command line:

mgserver2014.exe run

If that doesn't work, it should spew out some error message that could explain why

Tried what you said, Jackie.

It gives this error: "Registered license detected... Unable to join the environment"

Any ideas?

Already tried to run 'SetupRepositoryIndices.bat' but it stops at the 'Setting up Sites repository indices' part and do not moves foward.

Also got uninstalled .NET Framework 3.5, but nothing changed.

I just had the same issues and have finally fixed the issues.

I fixed it I did the following steps:

1) completely uninstall both the web and mapserver.

2) completely deleted, and purged all files & folders in the program folders.

3) from the server config console select add feaures and turn on all components of .net 3.5 & manually install .net 4. NOTE: installing .net on servers is now different to desktop.

4) reboot the server

5) go into the IIS console and confirm that you have ASP .net 4 application pool.

6) install AIMS normally.

Hope that helps.

Mark
