Tutorial Datas

Hi,

I downloaded AIM 2013 for trying. I would have liked to start with tutorials but I don't find the data files. For example the  Exercise 2 - Import Terrain, I need the contour.shp file and so on....

Do you have any suggestion, from where I can download the source datas?

Thanks, in advance

Andrea

I not sure why You need it?

Just import a tif, love em.

Sorry (edit), shp files important, i never checked that.

I never check tutorials, I love tinytown for a tutorial.

If new to this I´ll try to collect all my test files after Easter so you can understand the power of AIM.

If study tinytown you will get far though.

There is loads of free data around, I´m a raster fan 🙂

I plan to make a roundtrip of AIM data even into game engines, but it takes time.

Seems so smooth in AIM, but gets insanely big even if FBX.

Perhaps we upload testfiles to wiki, i collected many.

I think, if Autodesk creates a tutorial, he needs to ensure the datas for it. That's all.

It seems that it is more simple to know the workflow through a tutorial, than do it "alone".

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Based on this request we've posted the data for TinyTown in the tutorials to the WikiHelp site. Look for the file Data.zip under the "files" section of the page linked above. The files are all shp files and the names should correspond to feature classes in AIM. Please let us know if you have questions.
