Coordinate System definition in AutoCAD Map 3D 2012

Hello!

I have defined a new coordinate system in Civil 3D and I want the coordinate system to be in AIM Library.

Hi there,

Civil, Map and AIM are using the CS library as a shared component. So if you have defined a specific CS in Civil it should be visible in AIM as well. Please check this out and see if it works alright, since i haven't used it yet.

I'm having the same issue with Map3D.  They are supposed to use the same libraries, but they don't.  A coordinate definition that is in Map3D that was created through Map3D does not appear in the list of definitions in the AIMS library.

How do I get them to appear in AIMS.  So frustrating.

I found the solution.  Turns out if you have Map3D installed on a different local drive than where AIMS is installed, it won't see the coordinate definitions.  (I have a local c: drive and a 😧 drive)

After installing Map3d on the same local drive as AIMS studio, the libraries shows up.
