what is most reliable way to get image in on correct coords?

I currently am using jpg for image, and jgw for world file.

Seems to work, but I am seeing a bit of clipping around the edge of my surface.

Makes me think IM is digesting the image location incorrectly a bit.

Im wondering if a format that has the coords saved in it might be better.

These are large images, 13k x 13k pixels, so whatever format is used must have decent compression.

thanks

oh, seems the problem is me.

I have a lisp from long ago that makes world files from images, and can insert images using world files.

I compared the world file to what Raster Design puts out, and the results are a bit different.

I used the RD one in AIM and the image lined up correctly.

So I need to look at the lisp and see what's up. We usually hand tweak images once brought in anyway to match topo features, but this may explain some things.
