Why do you need a profile in Infraworks?

I need the information of corridors.

I want to create multiple scenarios in a technical viability study of an airport. Need to see the fill/cut impact

Create by polyline from corridor and then export sdf file. the interoperability is not as much autodesk advocates

Try to experiment with Horizontal and Vertical elements of alignments.

(use more element method instead of tangents).

In some situation (different types of alignment elements) Infraworks import C3D alignments like a spline, in other like a design road (meaning, you can't split the road).
