The "Export Storyboard" option in the Storyboard panel seems to only give me choppy videos that looks like the real-time visualization. Is there a way to do a high-quality video like the "Render" panel in the Imagery group? If not, any suggestions on how to eliminate the stuttering?
Sounds like you didn't put the storboard together properly. However, there are some settings to change...
1. Pick the format you want to use (windows media, etc.).
2. Click the Properties button. If you want high quality, change the bit rate to 10,400.
3. Change the Frame rate to 24.
It will take longer to process, but this is for HD quality. If you like, you can check out some of my videos I have produced using these settings...

What resolution do you set in combination with these property settings? Thanks.
Resolution will depend on your target viewing device. For old-style monitors, you will be using a 4:3 aspect ratio, such as 800 x 600. For HD televisions or monitors, you should be looking at 16:9 aspect ratio 720p (1280 x 720) or 1080p (1920 x 1080). Higher resolutions will take longer to process and may crash otherwise marginal hardware set-ups.
I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd add my input in case you're like me and looking for solutions all across the forums.
I couldn't get my video to export without horrible choppiness and stuttering all over the place. I tried all sorts of export settings, and finally found that it was actually because I was exporting to a network drive. Unfortunately, Infraworks and network drives do NOT cooperate. Exporting my storyboard to my local HD created a seamless video 🙂
Not really experienced any issues with creating videos on a network mapped drive; all my Infarworks data sources are on network drives

Interesting. Out of curiosity, do you build/save your projects on network drives?
we've had a bountiful number of issues and autodesk has told us it's all due to having our projects on network drives.

Attached an example of one of my data paths - the L drive is a locally mapped network drive
It seems a bit bizarre that Autodesk are so keen on pushing cloud solutions (that few people want or need) and yet neglect the good old network that most everyone still uses....

That image shows the path to an image file. Where is the project file, the .sqlite?

I was having the same issue. I found that the issue ended up being that I still had Infraworks open when I was trying to play the video. After I closed Infraworks, the video played very smooth.
Can anybody please tell me how can I save video from storey board ??
I am new to Infraworks.
I am not sure how to proceed after this.
Thanks in advance
