Ground Imagery - jgw jpeg format

I want to insert ground imagery into AIM from NearMap.

Nearmap enables you to save an image with coordinate’s in.jgw format and also as a .jpg/.jpeg.

From what I understand AIM will accept a jpeg file with a world extension file jgw. I can add the image to AIM but when I configure it, it comes up with an error.

I can insert ecw files without trouble however I want to use Nearmap imagery because it’s up to date.

Is there a way to get a jgw file into AIM??.

I've added jpg's with corresponding world jgw files with no issues - these are in fact the only type of image files I use
