Linked Revit .RVT files?

Can Revit .RVT files be directly linked in yet in version 3?

What a shame. Oh well, here's hoping for v4.0.
I'm just not going to bother with this program until .RVT linking can happen.

It's your loss. I honestly don't see what the problem is in saving out to dwg files. Linking might be a bit of a problem from an update standpoint in Impression anyway even if it did work, depending on how you actually constructed your rendering in Impression.

I've been down the path of exporting to DWG and linking them in various programs in the past, even earlier versions of Impression, and it really is a PITA when it comes to amendments. Not to mention the DWG's that are exported typically don't suit the application they are linking into, and I would say that Revit > DWG > Impression is probably the worst to date.

Keep an eye out for Project Newport. It may be what you're looking for.

Yeah, whenever that will be 8^P. Still waiting for it to arive at the Autodesk Labs.
It will certainly be a step up in performance, quality and not to mention price.
