Drop shadow

hello,
i have drop shadows around my buildings and woods line and they look great. but when the viewport crosses these objects Impression places a shadow outside of the viewport. is there a way to eliminate this?

Off the top of my head, the quick and dirty way to get rid of those is to
draw a white fill with no border over the shadows kind of like a wipeout. I
don't think there is a setting for that. Let me think about it...

Brute force methods are often the best. They may be clunky but they beat waiting for a software solution that may or may not ever happen.
