Converted outline text mess up

I'm creating a special project for my boss making some new drawings look old. I'm using the text style City Blueprint as it has that old style hand drawn look. I imported my drawing from AutoCAD 2009 into Impression 3 then converted the text into Outlines. I added a very light pencil style to the TEXT layer and all my "L"'s and "E"'s in the text mess up. Check out the JPG for an instance. I can fix it by selecting the text then selecting a grip on an end and moving it slightly and the mess up goes away. So my question is does anyone know how to fix this without me having to change each text or does anyone know of any better text styles I can use?

Thank you for your help.

It's hard to say without seeing the file, but it looks like the "Tilt"
setting needs to be changed in the style editor. Is it possible to attach a
file displaying this problem?
