Stopping at "Your Fusion 360 account is being configured" screen

Hi.  When I turn on Fusion 360, the program stops loading ath the "Your Fusion 360 account is being configured" screen.  It seems similar to this thread about stopping at the hub page, but the wording is different and I'm not sure that it's the same problem.  I only have alphanumeric symbols in my username, and when I deleted the Web Services folder as was suggested and signed in with a different account, it gave me an error saying that I was not authorized to use Fusion 360.  Additionally, other computers on the same network with the same license are able to get into Fusion 360 just fine.

Has anyone else had this issue and/or know how to fix it?

Thank you!

I just had someone look at the back end and everything seems to be okay. I've sent you a PM with a link.

Can you try to log into the link with the username and password that is stalling. It may help to first clear your browser's cache first.

Thanks,

I'm attempting to try out Fusion 360, but when I go to open it I am also only getting to the message that says "Your Fusion 360 account is being Configured - Please Wait". I have tried on both Mac and PC and they say the same thing. On the PC, eventually it comes back saying it timed out.

Have you checked to see if this may be related to a firewall or anti-virus software on the system? Below is a link that will help you configure any proxy server for access with Fusion 360.

You may consider using the + alias trick to create a disposable gmail address, quickly. For example, if your e-mail was johndoe@gmail.com, you may sign up with johndoe+fusion@gmail.com. Any notifications should still go to the same gmail account. This will not give you access to any previous designs stored in Fusion 360, but it may help confirm any accounts specific or network specific issues.

In the meanwhile, I will forward your information to development to double check on our side. Thank you for reporting this issue.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for the response. It seems account related, which is odd, since I just created the account to try this. I wiped out the web services folder, and created an account within the app using another alias at the login screen, and the it went through. So, not sure what's going on there, but at least I'm in. Thanks!

It's pretty pathetic that this software is built so poorly. It should not work worse than a free browser.

Also, the fact Amazon and Google are being communicated with by this code is shameful.

I, too, am having this problem.  I can login and run Fusion under my email just fine.  As soon as I try to login on this account for my dad, the software hangs.  Any help?

What is the user ID that is experiencing the issue? Also, can you confirm that Fusion 360 hangs during the "Your Fusion 360 account is being configured" screen.

Thanks,
