Opened up my model and started hiding and showing parts to check to see if the hanging problem was fixed which seems to be the case,  🙂  , but now this display problem is new. I'll try some stuff at this end to see if it's going to be a persisent problem.

Thanks for reporting this behavior! Are you running on a Macbook by any chance?

You may want to check out the below collection of knowledge articles. I'm very curious if the Energy Saver settings may impact this behavoir.

Could you send your system profiler file to me at nathan (DOT) chandler (AT) autodesk (DOT) com ?

See link for information about system profiler.

Thank you for letting us know about this.  A couple people on our end have encountered this issue as well, and we are actively investigating a fix.  It appears to be a graphics memory management issue and we have found that closing and reopening will get rid of the visual defect.  It may come back for you with the screen resolution of your retina display.  Another option is to lower the screen resolution temporarily.  This is a high-priority issue for us and we will get a fix out to you and the community as soon as possible.

Please let us know if this is a persistent issue for you and how well (or not) the temporary workarounds help.

Thanks for replying,

I don't have a retina display, but rather a 27" imac.

I did a clean uninstal because of that problem and now can no longer install F360.

Streamer doesn't initialize. Someone from F360 will call me tomorrow.

On another thread Keqingsong (http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Help-and-Support/Heeeeelp/td-p/5048268) mentions Removing Appearence Override. Would that have solved my problem? Is mine the same problem the other user had?

A simple downloadable .dmg  installer would be nice for times when Streamers stop working.

Update from a happy camper.

I found that something in my firewall settings prevented the Streamer from downloading F360. I turned off the firewall and it worked.

It's odd that it updated before I did the clean uninstall so I hadn't thought to turn it off.

feel good about that.

The reinstall, happy to say, fixed the odd display problem for me 🙂

None of my local files show up and the only version of my model I can open from the dashboard is from the 8th of May, Any ideas?

Hi donsmac, thanks for reporting this, you're having this message probably because we haven't done all the 3d preview conversion of the legacy data from previous build to the latest one and it might take some time to finish the job.

the design you have created or modified should be safe. You can try to click the "Open Design" button on the upper right corner of the page and see if the latest version of the design could be opened.

Please let me know if you are still having the problem.

Thanks.

Thanks,

The 'Open Design' button opens the file from May 8th. Now that file is the one that always shows up in that column, and so I would always have to click to get the version list and open the current version from there. I think the lastest version of the file should show up in that column rather than an older version of the design.

I can appreceitate the fact that it takes time to do all the processing especially since i have hundreds of versions up there. If there's a way to delete versions, I don't know about it. I did ask in another post awhile back.  The files just now showed up as I'm typing this so hey. Cool.  🙂

Noticed as well that the version in the home screen now shows the latest version, another great fix for me.

I have the same problem as well - goes away when you select a different env texture.

Hi all,

We have deployed a fix to address visual issues on MacOS in the graphics area that make a design very difficult or impossible to work with visually.  Recent improvements to support rendering and materials place a higher load on the graphics subsystem, and customers are encountering the issue as a result.  The next time you launch Fusion, you will receive a small update that addresses this issue.

This update is our first Fusion point (economical) update, which has been enabled by recent changes in our product streamer (installer).  The change allows an update the download and update a portion of the complete install / streamer package.  The result is that the update should be significantly faster than a full download and installation.

As always, we would appreciate your feedback on both the fix and update process.
