Missing Design - Deletion history?

Hi,

now the thing happened that always frightened me with a cloud based software service: I'm missing a quite important design. The project where it was in is still there - also some files with stuff that i have exported from that one design but that certain design looks to be completely gone. I've searched all my projects and did an overall search - nothing.

Is there any history for deleted files - i'm quite sure i did not delete this but i don't want to blame anyone else before i know it for sure.

Have you had any luck locating the design? Did you try using the Filters in the General search?

There isn't a recycle bin in the dashboard that I'm aware; however, you should receive a confirmation if a design is going to be deleted.

HI Nathan,

no unfortunately i can't find it anymore. For the deletion i'm quite sure i did not delete it but well, looks like it's gone.

Guess i have to think about exporting important designs on a regular base to have backups. Silly me because i already have been frightened about that moment - i should have done this before.

Hi Frank,

Did these deleted design(s), ever show up on the dashboard as items? If so, we can surely retrieve them for you.

Did you work in it long enough to create multiple versions of the same design?

luckily i found an earlier version of the design inside another assembly and used that as a biasis to rework the hole thing so i'm quite ok with it now.

Whats stays are the worries for the future as i still don't know how this happened.

I'll add. Please help us try and determine what Happened. If you can share the name and dates that you think something happened it will really help.

I have over 2000 design I have worked on for the last two years. I have never had a design go missing. We have no know cases of an item going missing so this is very important to us to determine what happened.
