Calculating forces

Hi, is it possible to calculate the forces required to work a lever in Autodesk 360?

Is this what you are looking for

Is your question about Autodesk 360 or Fusion 360?

Rigid Body Dynamic Simulation is not available in Fusion 360. You may submit a request to the Fusion 360 IdeaStation for future consideration.

For now, you may want to check out Force Effect:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autodesk-forceeffect/ekbaidcchahkpedbhdenlmleimihkcim?hl=e...

Or... Force Effect Motion:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autodesk.forceeffectmotion

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/autodesk-forceeffect-motion/id512045820?mt=8

These two apps allow you to get quick force calculations for static and dynamic problems.

Inventor has a Dynamic Simulation Add-In that you also look at. I hope that helps.

Thanks,

Thanks, I was hoping to not have to buy more products though.

Force Effect Motion is a free app I believe.

Hi

Are there any updates in this topic?

For me it's a must have to calculate forces in a cad.

Force Effect Motion is not available anymore.

Is there an alternative?

Thanks for any answer

Martin

Do you really need motion analysis?

If you are a student you can get Autodesk Inventor Professional with Dynamic Simulation for free.

Dynamic Simulation.PNG

But perhaps all you need is to apply a Prescribed Displacement and the retrieve the Reaction Force.

Can you File>Export and then Attach you *.f3d file here?

Yes, I need motion analysis. Friction, acceleration, gravity, torque and so on.

What very well fits my needs is:

https://www.ptc.com/en/products/cad/creo/parametric/mechanism-dynamics-option

unfortunately I have no more access to this software.

I guess Autodesk Inventor Professional with Dynamic Simulation is quite the same, but I'm not anymore student.

Any other recommendation?

I really hope Fusion 360 will include this kind of analysis in future.
