Bug: 3D navigation cube disappearing

I've had a serious issue tonight and last night with the 3D navigation cube in the upper fight hand corner randomly disappearing.

Restarting doesn't make it come back. I'm kind of lost without it.

Is there a fix (this is on the latest public Mac version)

Would you like to try to "Reset to default layout"?

In my case, turning off the grid visibility seems to have helped.

The developer is working on the root problem now.
