AbstractDigestAuthHandler does not support 'Negotiate'

Hi all,

I was about to give Fusion a try and downloaded the installer, after it initializes, a popup box came up saying:

AbstractDigestAuthHandler does not support the following scheme: 'Negotiate'

And it quits.

I googled a bit and it seems it has something to do with python (i have a program on the computer that uses python). But I'm not a programmer and don't know what to do about it.

Anyone has any idea? thank in advance! attached is the error log.

I noted in the log file that an http error 407 occurred. This may indicate that a proxy authentication may be required. Are you behind a proxy server? You may want to review the below link to configure the proxy server.

Thanks for the info. I do have a proxy in the office. I'll try to install it from another place and see if it works and let you know.

On the other hand it might be a good idea to implement a simple connection setting in the installer since some companies are using proxy and if my computer wasn't a mobile workstation it'd be a bit painful to move it around.

I made the steps as recommended in the article, but problem remain 😞 

I have already installed the software at home, on my personal pc, but I would like to practice also at work office. Hopefully there will be some solution, you be able to help with.

Reference information below:  

Computer : Dell Precision M4800 

Operating system : Windows 7 

Software I want to install: Fusion 360

Error during installation: AbstractDigistAuthHandler does not support following scheme: NTLM
