Not sure if this is the right place to post thi squestion, but I am running
windows XP with Acad 2002 with a nVidia Geforce 3 video card. I have been
getting floaters as I pan or zoom as well as missing characters when I use
the Mtext command. Has anyone ever seen this problem or know how to fix it?
Thanks
Paul

To fix the mtext problem, go to the display properties appearance tab or effects tab and unselect smooth edges of fonts.

Thanks for the imput. But I can't seem to
locate exactly where this selection is. I looked under tools
ptions and
display and there is nothing there referencing what you are talking about for
the fix. Le me know.

That worked. It seems too effect some of the windows fonts as well. Is
there a way to segregate that between windows and autocad or not?
