I have a Cadjet 2 plotter with Autocad 2007 both working ok till the other day when I got the message, invalid I/O type or file name.
When i go into plotter configuration editor, and click on ports it shows my documents is checked. When i try to change it to LPT1 i get the message.
    Can anyone please help

    Questions:

Does this error only occur when printing from AutoCAD?
Have you gone into the CMOS to see if LPT1 port is still enabled?
