We're using Win95, ACAD r2000 and ADT2. All worked well for a few weeks,
now several stations are getting the following message when starting up
ADT:
ERROR LOADING MODULE
"HEIDI driver module gdi6.hdi"
[leading to]
ACAD ERROR ABORTING
"FATAL ERROR--Can't display driver"
So, we can't even start ACAD!
This is before ACAD even loads up and our startup shortcut icon points
to an office standard template file which does not cause problems on
other stations, so I don't believe the problem is related to a specific
file. What's up with that?

Just a thought, you could try copying a new copy of the gdi.hdi file into
the ...\MDT\DRV directory. Be sure to save the old file, just in case.
You may also get a quicker response in the autodesk.mcad.mdt4.support
newsgroup.

Tom,
If this was originally working, then it still should be working. What
exactly changed? Was an application updated?
Also, did you download the latest gdi6.hdi from the AutoCAD web site? This
was posted in mid January.
