Hi, I have applied the 3GB switch to enable Inventor to open large assemblies/idws I have 3GB of physical ram When opening a idw that is about 17MB the taskmanager says the following : Physical Memeory Total : 3144416 Available : 1914064 System Cache : 893200 PF Usage 993MB+ Why am I paging memory to disk when I still have 1914064 physical available ? I've set the page file to system managed, I've tried different settings, both low and high, but no matter what, windows choose to page about the same amount every time. Other specs: Winxp pro sp1, nv56.72, QuadroFx3000, Dual DDR ECC400 (3GB), 3,2GHz Extreme Edition, 76GB Raptor S-ATA (Raid) Regards, Jorgen

You are paging 116580k to the hard drive. Thats about 113 MB out of a total of 1.24 GB.
