New Macbook Pro Design running Revit

Hello,

I am considering buying a new Mac Book Pro to run Revit 2012.

Will these specs be enough to run Revit.

  • 2.7GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
  • 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
  • 512GB Flash Storage
  • Parallels running Windows 7

Just curious if anyone has tried running Revit on the new Macbook Pro or know if it will meet the minimum specs.

Thanks

John

Im running Revit on mac using Bootcamp and it works perfectly. Enjoy 🙂

Though i still use the previous generations(17") im not usre the effect of that crazy Retina display effect. Could be pretty nice to have all those pixels though.

Keep me posted 🙂

So far Revit 2013 does not support the Retina Display. when you lunch Revit within high resulotion, it will generate graphic issues. To solve that you need to reduce the resulotion the basic setups of your windows.

Yah I am having the same problems but I do not know how to fix them. I have the retina display flash storage macbook and revit 2013 is working horribly. Can you tell me how to fix the resolution. I am using parallels and do I reduce it there, in Windows or do I reduce it on the Mac?
