Im a college student and before I return for the fall semester I need to buy a new computer. I was planning on buying a retina macbook 15 inch with 16 GB of ram and a 512 SSD. However I am left with an upgrade from a 2.6 Ghz Quad Core i7 with 6MB L3, to a 2.8 Ghz with 8MB of L3. Other than Autocad I cannot see a need for this 250 dollar upgrade, but I here that Autocad is a Processor hog so would the upgrade be worth it to make Autocad work smoother?
